Wichita Falls Memorial wins at Wylie to earn first district victory

ABILENE, Texas — The Mavericks returned to their non-district form Friday night, pulling away from Wylie in the fourth quarter to get to 1-2 in district in a 45-14 decision.

The Bulldogs trailed 14-0 at the half and got as close as 24-14 in the fourth before seeing Memorial add three fourth-quarter scores to win it 45-14

Wylie is off next week and will hope to bounce back on Halloween at Lubbock Cooper.
