𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸: 𝟲-𝗠𝗮𝗻

5) Santa Anna 58, Panther Creek 31: The Mountaineers get in the win column for the first time this season in their second go-round under head coach Tom McVey. They had scored just six points through two weeks before exploding against the Panthers.

4) Throckmorton 53, Ranger 51: The Greyhounds won for the first time in 2026 and earned their first victory in Shane Mallory's second stint as head coach in Throckmorton.

3) Richland Springs 56, Gorman 8: Kudos to both squads for scheduling this game on short notice, but the Coyotes end up with their third win in as many games and knock the 1A DI Panthers from the ranks of the undefeated.

2) Zephyr 59, Bluff Dale 20: The Bulldogs stay perfect on the season with a 39-point victory over the 1A DI Bobcats on the road.

1) Gordon 46, Strawn 28: The Longhorns had a rare game that went the distance but outlasted their Palo Pinto County rivals and extended their winning streak to 47 in a row.

𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸: 𝟭𝟭-𝗠𝗮𝗻

6) Eastland 33, Grape Creek 8: The Mavericks won for the first time under head coach Matt Landers and snapped a 13-game losing streak with a dominating effort on the road over Grape Creek.

5) Cooper 28, San Angelo Central 21: The Cougars had been close to victory, losing by just four and eight in their first two games of the year, but broke through with a big win over the Bobcats. Scott Stewart earned win number one as head coach at Cooper.

4) Hawley 43, Stamford 42: The Bearcats improve to 2-1 with their second straight one-point nailbiter victory. Camden Ables became the Bearcats' career receiving touchdown leader in the game with 33.

3) Graham 32, Paradise 21: The Steers improved to 3-0 on the season with a win over one of the best teams in 3A DI... on the road.

2) Haskell 44, Santo 42: The Indians came from 14 points down in the fourth quarter to win a battle of unbeatens on the road.

1) De Leon 42, Albany 7: Any time someone beats Albany by 35, you have to tip your cap. The Bearcats are playing great ball to start the season and have outscored their opponents by a combined 139-21.
