Top Scoring Defenses After Week 7
A look at the top defenses in the Big Country based on points allowed per game after seven weeks of action.
Anson drops from the top spot, but not far, after giving up 39 points at Hawley. That is more points than they had given up all season before facing the Bearcats.
Albany is the new number one at 9.2 points per game allowed.
Ballinger, Brownwood, Merkel, and Wylie drop off the chart this week, with Abilene High, Brady, and Clyde coming in.
Jayton is still the top six-man defense in the Big Country, with the top five teams staying the same. The only switch is Aspermont and Benjamin in the two and three spots.
Gustine falls from number six to off the list, with May taking their place at number 15.
