ABILENE, Texas — Hardin-Simmons scored the only points of the second half to rally past rival Howard Payne 28-19 Saturday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets led 19-7 at the half, but the Cowboys put together three scoring drives and played great second half defense to improve to 7-1 on the season.
Howard Payne falls to 6-2.
