Gordon Pulls Away From Richland Springs in Season Opener + Photos

PRIDDY, Texas — The Longhorns led just 8-6 after the first quarter, but pulled away in the second to lead 44-6 by halftime.

Gordon added a touchdown in the third quarter to end it via the mercy rule.

The Longhorns extended their winning streak to 31 games in a row and will play at Valley next week.

Richland Springs has another tough D1 opponent on the slate next week as they will host May.
