Borden County Pulls Away From Newcastle in Jayton Gridiron Classic Opener + Photos

JAYTON, Texas — Borden County led Newcastle just 14-8 at the half but used a huge third quarter to pull away for a 50-16 win.

The preseason #6 Coyotes went on a 36-0 run before the preseason #12 Bobcats scored near the end of the game.

Newcastle looks to bounce back next week at home against Guthrie.

Borden County will host #10 Nazareth in another early season showdown.
