DISTRICT 2-5A DIVISION II
Cooper (4-1 in district) heads to Amarillo Palo Duro (5-0) this week with a chance to win the district championship.
The winner is the #1 seed, and the loser is the #2 seed. Both avoid the long road trip to El Paso.
Lubbock Cooper is locked in as the #3 seed.
If Wichita Falls Memorial beats Wichita Falls Legacy, then the Mavericks will be the #4 seed.
If Wylie beats Plainview and Legacy beats Memorial, the Bulldogs will make the playoffs as the #4 seed.
If Wylie wins and Memorial wins, Memorial will get in thanks to their head-to-head win over the Bulldogs.
It looks like all four of the playoff teams from District 1-5A DI have been decided, but all four seeds are still up in the air.
El Paso Del Valle has finished its season with a 7-1 record but lost earlier this year to 6-1 Chapin. Chapin can get to 7-1 with a win over Hanks (5-2) this week and get the tiebreaker thanks to their win over Del Valle for the #1 seed. Andress (6-1) can also get to 7-1 with a win over Canutillo (5-3) and possibly set up a three-way tie of 7-1 teams for the top spot. Hanks can climb out of the #4 seed with a win over Chapin. There is still quite a bit to be decided out west this week.
Potential bi-district playoff matchups:
El Paso Hanks (6-3, 5-2)/El Paso Chapin (6-3, 6-1)/El Paso Andress (7-2, 6-1)/El Paso Del Valle (9-1, 7-1) at District 2 #1 seed

DISTRICT 4-4A DIVISION I
Stephenville has clinched the district title and top seed.
Brownwood will be the #2 seed with a win over Marble Falls this week.
If Brownwood wins, Lampasas will be #3 and Burnet will be #4.
If Brownwood loses and Burnet loses to Stephenville, then Brownwood will be #2, Lampasas #3, and Burnet #4.
If Brownwood loses and Burnet somehow shocks Stephenville, there will be a three-way tie of 2-2 teams between Brownwood, Lampasas, and Burnet.

Greenwood is the #1 seed and district champion.
If Monahans upsets Seminole, then the Loboes, Indians, and Fort Stockton would all be tied with 2-2 district records.
If Seminole takes care of business against Monahans, then it will be the #2 seed, Fort Stockton will be #3, and Monahans will be #4.
The bi-district matchups from District 2 haven’t yet been completely decided.
The Perryton/Borger winner this week will make the playoffs as the #4 seed.
If Lubbock Cooper-Liberty beats Levelland, it will be #1, Estacado #2, and Levelland #3.
If Levelland beats Liberty, there will be a three-way tie at 3-1 in the district between the Lobos, Liberty, and Estacado.

If Jim Ned beats Sweetwater and Clyde beats Comanche, then Jim Ned is #1, Clyde, #2, and Sweetwater #3.
If Sweetwater beats Jim Ned by 8 or more and Clyde beats Comanche, then Sweetwater would be #1, Clyde, #2, and Jim Ned #3.
If Sweetwater beats Jim Ned by exactly 7, there would be a three-way tie between the three teams with 0 positive points.
If Sweetwater beats Jim Ned by 6 or fewer, Jim Ned would be #1, Clyde #2, and Sweetwater #3.
If Sweetwater beats Jim Ned and Comanche beats Clyde, Sweetwater would be #1, Jim Ned #2, and Clyde #3.
Breckenridge can wrap up the #4 seed with a win over 0-9 TLCA San Angelo.

A Merkel win by 11 or more gets them the #3 seed and Coahoma #4.
A Merkel win by 10 or fewer puts the Badgers at #4 and Coahoma at #3.
Potential bi-district playoff matchups:
Wall vs. Anthony (2-7, 0-5)
#2 vs. Alpine (2-7, 2-3)
#3 vs. Crane (5-4, 3-2)
#4 vs. Odessa Compass (8-1, 5-0)
Predicted Playoff Teams
1. Wall

DISTRICT 5-3A DIVISION II
If Brady beats Clifton, the Bulldogs are the #1 seed.
If Brady beats Clifton and Early beats Dublin, Brady is #1, Early is #2, and Clifton is #3.
If Clifton beats Brady and Early beats Dublin, Early would be #1, Clifton #2, and Brady #3.
If Clifton beats Brady and Early loses to Dublin, then Clifton would be #1, Brady #2, and Early #3.
If Tolar beats Eastland, the Rattlers are in at #4, regardless if Dublin upsets Early.

DISTRICT 3-2A DIVISION I
Ozona has wrapped up the #1 seed and the district title and will host Christoval in the regular season finale.
Sonora is the #2 seed.
If Sonora loses, Forsan beats Reagan County, and Christoval loses: Sonora #2, Forsan #3, Christoval #4.
If Sonora loses, Forsan wins, and Christoval wins: Sonorao #2, Forsan #3, Christoval #4.
If Sonora loses, Forsan loses, and Christoval loses: Sonora #2, Christoval/Forsan/Reagan County tied for the last two spots with 2-3 district records. I think Reagan County would have to win by 10 (and get to +4 points with head-to-head) or more to be #3, send Forsan to #4 (+4) and Christoval would miss the playoffs (-8). If Reagan County wins by 9 or fewer, the Owls would be #4, Forsan would be #3, and Christoval would miss the playoffs.
If Forsan beats Reagan County and Christoval loses to Ozona, then Forsan will be #3 and Christoval #4.
Potential bi-district playoff matchups:
Ozona vs. Anson (6-3, 1-3)/Olney (3-6, 1-3)

DISTRICT 5-2A DIVISION I
Just like last season, the De Leon/Hamilton winner is the #1 seed and the loser is the #2 seed.
Bangs will be the #3 seed with a win over Coleman.
If Coleman beats Bangs and Hico loses to Ballinger: Coleman #3, Bangs #4, Hico out
If Coleman beats Bangs and Hico beats Ballinger, there will be three-way tie between Bangs, Coleman, and Hico at 2-3 in district. The district uses points to deterimine the three-seed, and then head-to-head to after that.
Hico is already at (0), Bangs is currently at (+1), and Coleman is at (-1). If Coleman wins by exactly one point and Hico beats Ballinger, there would be coin flip.
Potential bi-district playoff matchups:
#1 De Leon/Hamilton winner vs. Tioga (4-4, 3-2)
#2 De Leon/Hamilton loser vs. Tom Bean (8-2, 4-2)
#3 vs. Wolfe City (5-4, 4-1)/Alvord (7-2, 5-0)

Mason, San Saba, and Thorndale are all playoff bound.
Mason is #1 with a win over San Saba.
San Saba is #1 with a win over Mason and a Thorndale loss to Holland.
Mason, San Saba, and Thorndale would be tied with 4-1 district records if the Armadilloes beat the Punchers and Thorndale beats Holland. Assuming a +-15 max points tiebreaker in this district, if San Saba beats Mason by 10 or more then San Saba would be #1, Mason #2, and Thorndale #3. If San Saba beats Mason by 9 or fewer: Mason #1, San Saba #2, Thorndale #3.
The winner of the Johnson City (1-3) at Harper (1-3) game gets the four seed and the loser misses the playoffs.

The Albany/Hamlin winner is the #1 seed, the loser is the #2 seed.
If Roscoe beats Miles, the Plowboys are the #3 seed.
If Roscoe beats Miles and Cross Plains beats Winters: Roscoe #3, Cross Plains #4.
If Miles beats Roscoe and Cross Plains loses to Winters: Miles #3, Roscoe #4, Cross Plains out.
If Miles beats Roscoe and Cross Plains beats Winters there would be a three-way tie for third between CP, Miles, and Roscoe at 2-3 in district play. Miles would have to beat Roscoe by 17 or more to make the positive points for all three teams 0. If Miles were to win by 16 or fewer, Roscoe would be #3 and Cross Plains #4.
Despite an 0-4 district record, Winters still has a chance to get in as well with a win by 16 or more over Cross Plains and a Miles loss to Roscoe.

If Blackwell beats Trent, the Hornets are in as #2 seed.
If Trent beats Blackwell, there would be a three-way tie with Loraine (who is off this week), Blackwell, and Trent at 2-2 in district. Trent would have to beat Blackwell by 24 to reach the playoffs at (+2). If Blackwell loses by 23 or fewer it will still make the playoffs.

DISTRICT 13-1A DIVISION II
Zephyr is the #1 seed with a win over Gustine.
If Zephyr wins and Blanket beats Sidney, the Bulldogs are #1 and Blanket is #2.
If Gustine wins and Sidney beats Blanket, then Gustine would be #1 and Zephyr #2.
If Gustine wins and Blanket wins, there would be a three-way tie for the top spot with 3-1 records.
There is a 32-point cap in this district, so Gustine would have to beat Zephyr by 22 or more to get to the #2 seed at (-10), put Zephyr at #3 at (-12), and Blanket would #1 seed at (+22).
If Gustine were to win by 21, they would be at (-11) and so would Zephyr, so I’d assume Gustine would get in via a head-to-head win over Zephyr and Blanket would be #1 still at (+22).
Please correct me if I am wrong… there are different rules for each district and lot to try to sort out.
