Albany, Junction advance from Abilene D3 7on7 State Qualifying Tournament

Albany beat out eight teams at The Fieldhouse to advance to the State 7on7 championships in College Station later this month.

The Lions are state-bound for the second season in a row and the fourth time overall.

Merkel, Dublin, Brady, Tolar, Ballinger, Miles, and Seymour also took part at The Fieldhouse.

Jacksboro, Henrietta, Tulia, Eldorado, Odessa Compass, and Goldthwaite, who has already qualified for state, participated at the Annex.

Junction outlasted Hawley in the qualifying game at the Shotwell Annex to punch its ticket to state as well.
