Albany Avenges 2024 Loss to Stamford + Photos

ALBANY, Texas — Albany dropped a 50-6 decision at eventual 2A Division I runner-up Stamford a year ago, but turned the tables on the Bulldogs with a 21-7 season opening victory Friday.

The Lions outscored the Bulldogs 14-0 in the fourth quarter to earn the win.

Both teams have tough games coming up next week as Albany will host Hawley and Stamford will host De Leon.
